Farmington Hills Firefighters Local Charity Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our sole purpose is to provide additional services to citizens of Farmington Hills, Michigan. Every member of the Farmington Hills Firefighters Local Charity Fund participates on a strictly volunteer basis. No member of the organization receives any type of compensation for their services. This model allows for an efficient charity with low overhead costs. We can ensure you that your donation dollars go directly to programs and other charitable causes, not to paying our members.
Providing food for low-income senior citizens during the holiday season. We have donated almost $10,000 over the past eight years.
Raising funds for local breast cancer patients to help cover insurance deductibles, purchase wigs for women undergoing chemotherapy, and supporting local screenings. We have rains over $30,000 over the past 10 years.
Supplying indoor non-electric heaters and other necessities for those affected by winter storm power outages.
Allows paramedics to provide financial assistance to patients in need when encountered on a call for service.
Provides hotel rooms, toiletries, water, and other essentials to victims of house fires.
